The Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland celebrates Maine’s enduring role in American art through a nationally recognized collection of more than 10,000 works displayed across 20,000 square feet of gallery space. The collection includes works by many of America’s leading artists, with a major focus on artists connected to Maine.

The museum holds the second-largest public collection of works by 20th-century sculptor Louise Nevelson and is home to the Wyeth Center, featuring works by Andrew, N.C. and Jamie Wyeth. The Rockland campus also includes a research library, the historic Farnsworth Homestead and the Olson House, completing the museum complex.
