Cap’n Fish’s Cruises offers a range of sightseeing and nature cruises departing from Boothbay Harbor, exploring the coastline and waters of mid-coast Maine from May through October.

This cruise experience is like a “sea-safari,” with opportunities to spot wildlife such as seals, porpoises, dolphins and even sunfish, affectionately called “the pancake of the sea.” Whale watch cruises are a long-standing specialty, led by experienced captains and narrated by marine biologists and naturalists who share insight into whale behavior and the ecology of the Gulf of Maine.

Cap’n Fish’s also partners with the National Audubon Society on puffin cruises to Eastern Egg Rock, narrated by Project Puffin researchers. Shorter harbor tours introduce younger travelers to lighthouses, seals and lobster fishing, while longer sightseeing cruises explore areas ranging from Pemaquid Point Lighthouse to the Kennebec River. Music cruises, specialty trips and private charters are also available aboard comfortable, multi-deck vessels.
