Seasonal Hours

Camden Harbor Cruises offers narrated boat tours departing from Camden Harbor, providing an easy way to experience Penobscot Bay and Maine’s working coast. Cruises are designed for all ages and take place aboard a restored lobster yacht with comfortable, shaded seating.

One-hour lighthouse and lobstering cruises glide past several coastal lighthouses while offering views of wildlife such as seals, bald eagles and other seabirds. Guests also see a lobster trap hauled aboard to learn about Maine’s lobstering tradition.

Specialty trips include a 90-minute eco tour that travels across the bay to a remote seal habitat, with opportunities to spot marine life and coastal birds along the way. A two-hour sunset cruise explores waters near Islesboro and Gilkey Harbor, passing Curtis Island and Grindle Point lighthouses and ending with views of the Camden Hills at dusk. A Sunday lighthouse cruise highlights some of Penobscot Bay’s most photographed lights, visible only from the water.
