The Monhegan Museum of Art & History offers visitors a closer look at the people, art and everyday life that have shaped Monhegan Island. Inside, exhibits feature island-made and island-inspired artwork, historical photographs, tools, documents and artifacts that trace Monhegan’s fishing heritage, artist community and evolving way of life. Rotating exhibitions highlight both historical themes and contemporary perspectives connected to the island.
