Willard Beach

Willard Beach is a small sand and pebble beach tucked away between Fisherman’s Point and the campus of Southern Maine Community College in a quiet neighborhood of South Portland. Just four acres in size, thisbeach is enjoyed bybothvisitors and locals. You can relax and take in the views of Cushing Island and Ram Island Light in Casco Bay, go for a swim, breathe in the salty air, listen to the buoys clang offshore, and watch the ferries ply the waters of the bay. This beach has lifeguards.

The bathhouse is open in the summer and it has restrooms, a snack bar and showers. You'll find parking for 75 cars a short walk from the beach. Dogs are allowed in the summer, but only before 9 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
