Big Squaw offers a vertical drop of 1,750 feet and 70% snowmaking. Many trails feature views of nearby Moosehead Lake.

Big Rock Ski Area

Big Rock offers a 980-foot vertical drop and 80% snowmaking. Night skiing, ski school and half-day tickets are available.

Black Mountain Ski Resort

Black Mountain features a 1380-foot vertical drop and 90% snowmaking. Night skiing, ski school and half-day tickets are available.

Camden Snowbowl

The Camden Snowbowl features a 950-foot vertical and 80% snowmaking. Night skiing, ski school, rentals and half-day tickets are available. This mountain is situated on the coast; views of the ocean are visible from several trails. Additional features include a tubing hill and a 400-foot toboggan chute.

Sugarloaf Mountain and Ski Resort

The Sunday River resort covers eight mountain peaks, with a vertical of 2,340 feet and 92% snowmaking. Other features include boundary-to-boundary skiing, glade skiing, snowboard park, ski school, ski shops, rentals, three base lodges, a summit lodge, restaurants, day care and slope-side lodging.
