Birch Point State Park is a peaceful 62-acre recreation area in Owl’s Head with scenic views of Penobscot Bay while you picnic or fish. The park's crescent-shaped sand beach allows swimming in a gentle surf. Swimmers should note that there are no lifeguards. Visitors enjoy playing in the tide pools or walking on the short trails.
