RV Parks

You can find RV parks throughout the state, from the beach communities of southern Maine to the deep woods of the north. More than 150 RV campgrounds offer full hook-ups and many provide a wide range of services such as Wi-Fi and cable TV.

You can find luxury camping resorts with pools, boat rentals, and full calendars of activities—or drive up to a no-frills wilderness site at Blackwoods in Acadia National Park or Cobscook Bay State Park and revel in the quiet. You can stay at a bustling campground in Greater Portland, with full access to the shopping of Freeport and the restaurants of Forest City, or drive up into the woods north of Millinocket and find a site along the Golden Road with moose and loons for your neighbors. The choice is yours.

The RV camping season tends to kick off in May and be at its busiest from July to September. It usually cools down in early October. Some resorts fill quickly so plan ahead. To find a location, check with the Maine Campground Association or the chamber of commerce in the area you'd like to visit.
