Maine Maritime Museum

Maine Maritime Museum, located on the banks of the scenic Kennebec River in Bath activities for all ages. Our 20-acre campus includes the only intact historic U.S. shipyard - featuring five original buildings. Our working Boatshop keeps traditional wooden boatbuilding alive. Enjoy one of our daily lighthouse cruises or trolley tours; marvel at the life-size sculpture of the schooner Wyoming, the largest sculpture in New England; tour the Victorian-era Donnell House; hear the story and view the remains of America's last clipper ship; picnic by the river as your children play on a pirate ship; and more. Opening July 26, 2015: Lobstering & the Maine Coast, the complete story of Maine's most iconic industry, Daily, 9:30-5. General admission. Free admission for members and children under 6.
