Welcome to Twin Maple Outdoors Firearm Safety School where you may come feeling uneasy or intimidated about firearms but will leave comfortable, confident, competent and knowledgeable! We ensure that with the proper attitude that you will find our class fun, relaxing and informative. We will give you a comprehensive hands on approach to learning. *We also include in our class Lyme disease and lead poisoning prevention. We will accommodate one person or a group in a private comfortable setting. Our Public and Private Classes are offered 7 days a week, year around : 8:00am to 4:30pm. This is an 8 hour all inclusive class that teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude for owning and operating a handgun safely. This is an Instructor Led Class with Range Time where you will learn to safely handle and shoot a handgun. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded an NRA Certificate of Basic Handgun Safety. In Maine and most states, this coarse qualifies as a prerequisite for a concealed weapons permit.
