Downtown Waterville Parade of Lights

The parade is organized by Waterville Main Street and will culminate in the opening of Kringleville. The events typically draw about 15,000 people to downtown.

Santa greets the crowds in downtown Waterville during the Parade of Lights and then lights the city’s Christmas tree, signaling the start of the countdown to Christmas.

The parade route is down Front Street, Union Street, Main Street and end at Castonguay Square.

After Santa Claus lights the giant evergreen tree, he will go into Kringleville in The Center next to Castonguay Square and meet children. The public may view Santa with the children through a large window facing Main Street and purchase pictures for $6.
