Acting Manitou

Acting Manitou ( is a summer theater camp in Oakland for actors ages 11-17. Our summer 2010 sessions are: Session 1: July 24-August 15 and Session 2: August 18-29. Campers ages 11-17 study acting, playwriting, directing, and stage design with caring and talented professional theater artists at a beautiful camp in Maine. Acting Manitou is an ensemble camp, which means every camper matters. There are no chorus roles. Everyone has a chance to shine. Acting Manitou campers give breathtaking performances in cutting edge new plays, showstopping musicals, and riveting classics. After sharing a summer in Maine, Acting Manitou campers are friends and fellow artists for life
