UNE CDM SNDA Oral Cancer 5k Run/Walk

University of New England's College of Dental Medicine Oral Cancer 5K Run/Walk for Oral Cancer Awareness

According to research from the American Cancer Society, over 50,000 people across the United States will be newly diagnosed with some form of oral and pharyngeal cancer this year, adding to the nearly 400,000 Americans currently living with an oral cancer diagnosis. Tragically, of those affected with pharyngeal, tongue, or mouth cancer, it is estimated that 11,000 will not survive their diagnosis in 2020. In addition to our free oral cancer screenings, join us after the race for food, games, music, and more!
