Portland Chamber Music Festival Program III: Masterworks

Three masterfully crafted musical jewels by Mozart, Prokofiev, and Schumann are set in a single sparkling array.

PCMF's final weekend of summer season concerts opens with one of the most popular chamber music works ever written: the beloved Clarinet Quintet by Mozart. Prokofiev’s duo sonata is a tour de force showpiece, while the beautifully balanced, ingenious motifs and quicksilver color shifts of Schumann’s Piano Quartet are nothing short of revelatory.
