Gray Blueberry Festival

2nd annual [Town of] Gray Blueberry Festival - Celebrating Community, Connection, & Culture -  reminiscent of the Town of Gray's annual  'Old Home Days'. Location: Outdoors at Pennell Municipal Complex, 24 Main St., Gray, Maine. Nearby parking across the street. https://Facebook.com/GrayBlueberryFestival/

Saturday's family-friendly activities include: Live Music and Food Trucks*, Alpacas & Goats, Community/Business Expo, Make 'n Take Workshops, Vendors, Climbing Wall, Inflatables, (2) Blueberry Pie Eating Contests, Blueberry Jam Off, one-of-a-kind Bean Bag Toss "Golf Course", Lawn Games, Fun Run Dash, Diaper Derby, Dunk Tank, free Wagon Rides 10:00 to 2:30pm, free community art in the park activities, exhibits on robotics, and much more.

Spend the day in Gray! After visiting the Gray Blueberry Festival, drive over to the Maine Wildlife Park, less than 10 minutes away on Rt. 26 in Gray, to see the annual Pow Wow. 

* Returning and new food trucks, local bakers, and live music, including: Seagrass, Magic 8 Ball, The Frisky Whisk, Milly's Skillet, Cathy's Lobster Bakes, Fast Eddies, and more vendors and groups TBA. 

 

Saturday Festival 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. TBA: timed schedule for the following: (2) Blueberry Pie Eating Contests; Make 'n Take workshops on: felting soap, basket making, stencil sign-making, water color painting; Presentations on: super-pollinating native bees and their natural habitat; honeybee keeping; goat milk/cheese making; Fun Run Dash; Diaper Derby; and the line-up of the bands. Free Wagon Rides 10:00 to 2:30pm.

    No entry fee to Town's annual summer festival.
    Climbing Wall and Extreme Air Jumper each require a paid ticket.
