Fat-Tire Bike Loppet in Rangeley

The 5th Annual Fat-tire Bike Loppet is Sunday, January 26th at the Rangeley Lakes Trail Center, 524 Saddleback Mountain Road, Rangeley.

Join us as we host our 5th Annual Fat-Tire Bike Loppet!

The Rangeley Fat-tire Bike Loppet course takes advantage of the beautiful varied terrain we have available here at the Trails Center, from wide straight-a-ways to gradual ascent and descents, to some aggressive hill climb/descent opportunities. Views and possible wildlife sightings are included!

The course is a mix of some single track and mostly wide open groomed trails. Course length is 10 or 20 miles but length may be adjusted based on snow conditions.

Our stadium (bigger than a football field) provides an excellent venue for mass starts and great visibility for an exciting finish. There is a sidehill overlooking the stadium that also provides a perfect vantage point for spectators. There are several places along the course that are in the vicinity of our yurt lodge that also provide good places for cheering/spectating.
