City-Wide Narrated Tour aboard Molly the Trolley
Join Presque Isle Historical Society for a narrated tour aboard Molly the Trolley. This 3-hour tour covers all of Presque Isle as you learn about its direct ties to state, national and international history including but not limited to the Double Eagle II, its one-room schoolhouses, the first State Park in Maine, the stage coach house, Arthur Gould and his electric railroad, John R Braden and the Northern Maine Fair, the Aroostook War and Maysville, the SNARK Missile, and the 1959 National Christmas Tree. Tour starts and ends at the Historic Fire Station, 11 Church Street. Tickets $5.00 per person. Seats are limited and reservations are suggested by calling 207-762-1151. Tour leaves promptly at 9:00 a.m. There is a rest stop along the way.
