Cheese Lovers Weekend Retreat
Cheese lovers paradise. Learn the art of cheese making from taking care of animals, to preparation, storage and of course tasting.
This retreat offers all who attend an opportunity to learn the art of cheese making while being immersed in the daily tasks required to manage the cows and goats that provide us with milk. Taking us from grass, to cheese, to storage, to one big dinner table at the end of each day.
Saturday and Sunday instruction running from 8-4 p.m. Cost: $500/person Instructor: Gloria Varney and assistant Level: All levels Class Size: Limited to 10
There will be time in the afternoon on Saturday for participants to take a hike around the farm grounds, along the river, or just relax on the expansive front porch, overlooking the river and rolling pastures. Overnight accommodations are available and include a variety of amenities: wireless internet, full kitchen, linens, towels, coffee and complete on-site dining.
Schedule Friday 2 -3 PM Overnight participants can arrive and settle in 6 PM Dinner Saturday & Sunday 8:00 AM - Cheese making starts 1 to 2 PM Lunch provided by the farm cafe 1 to 4 PM Cheese making 6 PM Dinner
