Schooner Isaac H. Evans: Enjoy The Maine Windjammer Parade From The Deck Of A Schooner!

Valid Date:

7/9/13 — 7/13/13

North End Shipyard PO Box 791 Rockland, ME US 04841

(207) 594-7956, 877-238-1325

Windjamming is the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. Each day you can participate in sailing the vessel as we set our course based on the wind and tides. Take the helm or relax and enjoy islands, lighthouses, wildlife, new friends, and great food. You'll indulge in three hearty meals a day, one of which will be a traditional Downeast lobster bake on the beach of one of Maine's pristine islands. Each evening we will anchor in a quiet cove or peaceful harbor where you can stargaze from the deck or go exploring in one of our rowboats. When you wake in the morning to the smell of the wood stove fired up to cook breakfast and you wander the deck with your first mug of hot coffee, you'll think you've stepped back in time to an era when hundreds of schooners graced the waters of Maine.

On Friday we will participate in the Maine Windjammer Parade sharing tacks take by the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse with over a dozen other tall ships. This trip is one of the best to get great photos of all the schooners together...bring your camera!

22 guests maximum. Price is per person and includes a full crew and captain, accommodations, meals, on-site parking, activities, and taxes. All cabins accommodate two people but single guests are welcome (no single upcharge but be prepared to share a cabin). Bring your own beer, wine, or soda. Non-alcoholic and non-carbonated beverages included. Ice and cooler provided.
