Nature's Quest - A Vision Quest on Pleasant Mountain


This wilderness rite of passage is an ancient ceremony to sever from the world that you know to find a place of vision and self~empowerment. We quest for self~knowledge and to heal the places where we are split.

“What passage, crisis, or transition do you find yourself in? What life event do you seek to celebrate, mark or leave behind? Have you come to a door marked ‘fresh beginning’ or a door marked ‘conclusion’?” Is your intention to heal and to look more deeply into the source of your suffering? Join this circle to clarify and strengthen who you really are. Come to Pleasant Mountain to seek and experience guidance and alignment with nature, earth and your true spirit. This retreat is for you to find the answers you seek within your own beautiful Self.

The Program: 7 days with 3 day solo ‘Nature’s Quest’

Prior to arrival: You will be sent specific reflective assignments to prepare for your Vision Quest

Day 1: Acclimatize with group and self
Day 2: Preparation for the Vision Quest
Day 3-Day 6: Cross the threshold into solitude on Pleasant Mountain
Day 6: Incorporation
Day 7: Incorporation and Re~entry

The programming will include tools for life that may bring more clarity and confidence into your experiences and choices, including: guided meditation, The Work of Byron Katie, mindfulness exercises to help guide you in your own ease and empowerment.

This retreat includes preparation support prior to arrival, shared eco~cabin accommodations, breakfast, first and last evening dinners, tenting/camping option, all programming, a wood~fired sauna steam bath ceremony, day paddle, and after~care follow up support.

Participants are asked to be self-sufficient regarding their equipment and meals; however, we will provide breakfasts except when you are on your solo quest as well as a traditional celebratory dinner once you have left your solo time. Each cabin provides simple cooking amenities and jugs of drinking water. Cost: $950

This retreat earns 12 credits towards Certification in the Institute for The Work.
