NatureTrails cabins offer vacationers an opportunity to enjoy new modern cabins in a peaceful wooded site with trails around ponds and through the woods with old rock walls that were made when pastures were cleared , over 150 years ago. At that time, this area was a farming and seafaring community with little land travel. Your hosts are the descendents of some of the original settlers of the area. You will view trout in two of the ponds as well as frogs basking on the lily pads. There are deer, moose, eagles, and ospreys in the area, and the sounds of woods frogs and tree frogs in the spring, as well as bullfrogs in the summer, to serenade you. We are just 3 miles from Winter Harbor and the Schoodic Point section of Acadia National Park.
