Huts are always OPEN. Seasons described below:

Full-Service: Huts have a full staff on-site providing meals and assistance to guests.

Summer/Fall runs from early July to late October
Winter runs from mid-December to late March

Self-Service: Huts are open but not fully staffed and meals are not provided.

Spring runs from early April to late June
Late Fall runs from early November to mid-December

Maine Huts & Trails is a non-profit organization that manages a system of four backcountry eco-lodges and more than 80 miles of trails in Western Maine. We offer “off the grid,” hut-to-hut adventures coupled with comfortable and friendly accommodations.

Maine Huts & Trails provides countless possibilities for outdoor enthusiasts and active travelers of all levels, ages and interests. It's the perfect place for hiking, mountain biking, paddling, swimming, fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, or fat biking. At night, enjoy delicious home-cooked meals prepared with locally sourced ingredients, warm, comfortable beds and hot showers.
