Marian and William Fretz welcome you to Fretz Design, the home of Charlotte's daughter, Fretz Jewelry, and Fretz Tools. We are a workshop/gallery located in a renovated carriage house at 20 Elm Street, Bucksport, Maine.
Charlotte's daughter has created a line of what we like to call "Farm Raised"* seaglass jewelry. The designs include Killicks and Plummets, which are based on ancient anchors that can be seen at the Abbe Museum in Bar Harbor.
Fretz Jewelry showcases a line of our limited edition jewelry in high karat gold and sterling silver. We have a large collection of loose Maine Tourmaline from the early 1970's Newry Strike.
Fretz Tools designs and makes hammers and stakes that are also used to make our jewelry.
