Maine's Governor's Mansion.
The house was named for a former resident, James G. Blaine. During the 19th century, Blaine served as as a Maine Congressman, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Senator and Secretary of State.
The house was given to State of Maine for use as a Governor's Mansion in 1919.
