The second annual Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Festival promises to a day filled with fun for all!
Begin with a hearty lumberjack breakfast at the American Legion, 8-9:30 a.m. Stick around for the Lumberjack Parade that begins at 10 a.m. and features oxen, antique tractors and logging equipment.
Compete to be the best Paul Bunyan or his girlfriend Lucette look alike. Winners will get a special carved prize made by John Arsenault.
Try your hand at the crosscut saw competition, ax throwing, arm wrestling and pie eating contests. Kids will enjoy making up their own tall tales.
Sample the cookie walk, enjoy a ride in a horse drawn wagon, listen to tall tales or the lively music of Paul Bunyan and the Lumberjacks.
Grab a meal and dance the night away at the Flannel and Jeans Lumberjack Hoedown at the Eagles starting at 5:30 p.m.
There is no charge to attend the Lumberjack Festival.
