Imagine: you get to spend a couple of days in paradise, getting an introduction to weaving under the private tutelage of renowned rug weaver Sara Hotchkiss, and bring home a rug and a tapestry you made. Can it get any better? Yes… because you get to weave with the colors of your dreams, matched ahead of time, if you want, to the decor of your own home! Sara has been a weaver all her life and her work has been featured in many magazines like Architectural Digest, Better Homes and Gardens and House Beautiful. Most importantly, though, Sara loves what she does. We can't think of a better person to give you your first "feel of the loom".

Le Vatout's packages offer the quiet comfort of a small Bed & Breakfast far away from the maddening crowds, fresh, fabulous local food and the tutelage of your own, private instructor. We've designed this mini-vacation for two - a couple, two friends, a mother/daughter team - either way you can be sure you'll have that creative uplift that takes you beyond yourself and lets you return home enriched, relaxed and ready to tackle your life again.

The price for two is $1200 ($600 per person) and includes 2 days of private instruction and $200 worth of materials, plus 3 nights of double-occupancy lodging, 3 breakfasts, and 2 delicious box lunches. The date is your choice! Details: weaving_workshop.html
